Biography

Luti began his career in entertainment as an actor starring in the lead role of Simba in The Lion King – West End (the highest grossing theatre production of all time). 
After graduating from Ravensbourne, where 
he studied Post Production, Luti became a series regular on UK soap Hollyoaks (Channel 4). Inspired by the company (Mersey TV) Phil Redmond CBE had built, Luti decided to start up his own production company and boutique post house. 

His debut production was a documentary film ‘Nike: Midnight Madness’ (Channel 4 / Nike). Luti went on to produce a number of award winning short films including ‘Mixtape’ which won the Grand Prize at Virgin Media Shorts and a BAFTA nomination. He then began signing top US music video directors to Luti Media such as the legendary Director X, and discovering and developing new directors. These signings saw the company take a meteoric rise in the music industry and in 2013, Luti was invited to Google HQ London to receive the Digital Vanguard award “for trailblazing contribution to the British and international online digital media industry”. 
He is a frequent collaborator with high-profile international directors such as Nabil Elderkin, Melina Matsoukas, Colin Tilley, Director X, Anthony Mandler, Kanye West, Marc Klasfeld, and more. 

Music videos produced by Luti have now amassed billions of views for superstar clientele such as Drake, Zayn, Nicki Minaj, Snoop Dogg, Ed Sheeran, Rita Ora, Migos and countless others. His short film /music video for ‘Best Song Ever’ written by James Corden for One Direction became the world’s ‘most viewed video in 24 hours’ of all time. This hit video was followed by a short film / music video ‘Black Widow’ for Iggy Azalea which starred Michael Madsen (Reservoir Dogs), Paul Sorvino (Goodfellas), and T.I. (American Gangster). 
In the world of advertising, he has exec produced branded content and commercials for iconic brands such as Adidas, Pepsi, Ferrari, BMW, Beats By Dre, Sony Playstation, JD Sports, Nike, Reebok and more. He has Exec Produced fashion films and fashion shows for the likes of Anya Hindmarch, Alexander Wang, Casablanca, All Saints, and more.
Luti was a producer on The BAFTA and National Television Award nominated Dynamo: Magician Impossible (series 2). The show has been watched by over 35 million viewers in the UK and has been seen by over 400 million people in 180 countries worldwide. 
Luti Media launched its television department in 2016 and has numerous drama and comedy commissions from UK broadcasters including Channel 4 and BBC.

In 2018, Luti produced OTR II, a film that explores the nature of love, life, sacrifice and change through the story of Jay-Z & Beyonce. The film shot by Oscar nominated DP Bradford Young, Oscar winning production Designer Hannah Beachler, and Directed by Melina Matsoukas, formed the visual accompaniment to the OTR II world tour which has now become the highest grossing Hip Hop & R&B tour of all time. 

In 2019, Luti is set to produce his first scripted comedy TV series for Channel 4 and Hulu ‘Maxxx’ starring and written by O-T Fagbenle.
